Georgia Pecans Rule in First Watch Restaurants, Inc. Co-Promotion

Look for new menu items featuring Georgia pecans beginning Nov. 1 at First Watch, the nation’s fastest growing, daytime-only restaurant. Two menu specials will join existing menu items that already feature the nutty crunch of Georgia pecans at all 76 First Watch locations in 11 states.

"As part of our continued commitment to freshness and using the finest ingredients available, we are proud to feature Georgia pecans and believe that this partnership is a great fit for First Watch," said Chris Tomasso, Chief Marketing Officer for First Watch Restaurants, Inc. "We’re confident that customers will thoroughly enjoy our new, seasonal items."

Throughout November, two breakfast and lunch items will be available:
  • Georgia Pecan, Banana and Oatmeal Pancakes that are made from scratch and layered with Georgia pecans and thinly sliced bananas. A sprinkling of oats that are served with whipped butter and syrup give the dish a sweet crunch.
  • The Georgia Pecan Spinach Salad is a generous portion of spinach topped with Georgia pecans, dried cranberries and blue cheese, all tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
These will be offered in addition to the popular Georgia pecan dishes that First Watch diners already enjoy. Those include the signature Pecan Dijon Salad™ and Cranberry Nut Oatmeal.

"We are pleased to be associated with a restaurant that is just as committed to quality and customer satisfaction as we are," said Jimmy Champion, Georgia Pecan Commission chairman. "This partnership will undoubtedly be successful at generating greater consumer awareness for what we’ve known all along ... that Georgia pecans add a rich taste and nutty crunch to recipes."
